The blowing snow causes problems to road and rail transport and power and water supply in Constanta County (south-east, at the Black Sea).
The Prefecture of the county announces that the gusty wind blowing at a speed exceeding 100 km per hour, which hit the Black Sea shore and continental Dobrogea left 35 settlements in Constanta in blackout, 16 with no drinking water supply and closed 9 education units.
The strong wind and the lack of visibility led to some national roads being closed. The sea ports are still closed for navigation manoeuvres and loading or unloading cargoes from commercial vessels.
The strong sea storm with waves more than 4 or 5 metres high led to flooding of the beaches in the tourists resorts, with the situation between Eforie North and Eforie South being extremely severe, the water flooding dozens of holiday villas and the summertime Kids Camp and reaching as far as the road.
