The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) set up the county structures in charge of the verification of the big properties, reads ANAF .
These fiscal property verification structures check the wealth of the individuals, ANAF sources say.
‘We have in view the considerable differences, namely higher than 10 percent between the incomes we see when we use indirect verification methods, and the revenues individuals declare. The county structures will verify all the individuals where such gaps are noticed and who fail meeting the criteria to be checked by the ANAF central body,’ ANAF president Sorin Blejnar said.
The reorganization carried out as a result of setting up the structures involves no new jobs, but the existing employees have been redistributed.
The experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the UK Royal Agency for Revenues and Customs and the French taxation have been helping ANAF to train the personnel of the new verification structures.
