Romania switches to summertime on March 25 when 3 a.m. becomes 4 a.m., and 43 InterRegio trains and 41 Regio trains will register delays, Romanian Railway Company (CFR) informs.
The official summertime switch does not alter the current train timetables,
The passenger trains leave the initial stations according to the official wintertime hours till 3 a.m, on March 25, 2012, which is to become 4 a.m.. After 4.a.m. the trains leave according to the timetables in force.
The trains on road, at 3:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. (wintertime) will record delays, but additional measures will be taken they should recoup the delays, along the route.
As the neighboring countries switch to summertime on the same day, on Sunday 25, 2012, the trains running between the stations located at the borders with he Republic of Moldova, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine and Bulgaria will circulate according to the hours of the timetables in force.
