Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Andrei Marga on Monday participates in the sixth meeting of the European Action Group of the Republic of Moldova, taking place in Luxembourg.
According to a MAE release remitted on Sunday, the topics to be approached during the meeting aim at the European course of the Republic of Moldova, as well as at the developments in the Transnistrian file.
Republic of Moldova Vice Premier and Foreign Affairs and European Accession Minister Iurie Leanca will also participate in the meeting, as guest.
The event takes place on the sidelines of the Foreign Affairs Council and is organized by Romania, with the support of France.
The European Action Group of the Republic of Moldova is a ministerial mechanism, with an informal nature, launched in January 2010, at Romania’s initiative, with France’s support. The group is a dialogue and idea exchange platform for the development of relations between the EU and the Republic of Moldova, open for participation to all interested EU member states.
