Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Ambassador Lamberto Zannier will pay a visit to Bucharest on Tuesday at the invitation of Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean in order to attend the Annual Meeting of the Romanian Diplomacy (RADR).
According to the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), Lamberto Zannier will deliver an address on the role OSCE is playing in managing the security challenges its participating states are dealing with.
Moreover, OSCE Secretary General will hold meetings with Titus Corlatean and with other high-level Romanian officials. Zannier will also deliver a speech at the Science People’s House, this event being organized by the Foundation of the Black Sea University.
‘The visit of the high-level dignitary represents a significant political opportunity of dialogue on OSCE’s role in maintaining and strengthening the security in the European and Euro-Atlantic region. OSCE is the most comprehensive forum on security-related concerns both from the viewpoint of the geographic space and of the in-depth approach to security that encompasses politico-military, economic and human aspects,’ MAE reports.
