Corneliu Dobritoiu goes to Brussels to talk about implementing decisions adopted at Chicago NATO summit

Romanian Minister of National Defence Corneliu Dobritoiu participates on Tuesday and Wednesday in Brussels in the informal meeting of the defence ministers in the NATO member states, where they are going to assess the „progress in implementing the decisions adopted during the NATO summit meeting in Chicago,” reads a release from the Ministry of Defence.

„The talks will focus on two priority fields of the current agenda of the allies, the Alliance transformation and the NATO operations, focusing on the NATO operations in Afghanistan – ISAF, and the NATO operation in Kosovo province, KFOR,” reads the release.

The ministers will also approach the issue of the nuclear policy of the NATO, as well as aspects related to security and economy, with an impact of the development of the allied capability.
