An official delegation of Romania, headed by Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Daniel Constantin, on Wednesday and Thursday (October 10-11), will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation, informs the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry (MADR).
According to the cited source, on Wednesday, Romanian Agriculture Minister Daniel Constantin will have a working meeting with his Russian Federation counterpart Nikolai Vasilievich Fedorov.
On this occasion, aspects on the evaluation of the stage of cooperation in the agriculture area between the two states will be discussed, the Romanian side reiterating the interest in the development of relations in the animal breeding field, the trade situation on the food markets of Romania and the Russian Federation, as well as in the plant treatment area.
At the same time, the Romanian delegation members are interested in an information exchange in the sanitary-veterinary area for the relaunch of bilateral supply of agricultural products between the National Sanitary-Veterinary and Animal Safety Authority of Romania and Rosselhoznador (the Russian veterinary authority).
On Thursday, the two agriculture ministers will participate in the official opening of the „Golden Autumn” Agro-Industrial Exhibition of Moscow and then they will visit to the pavilions of the exhibition.
