ForMin Corlatean on official visit to Ankara to sign Action Plan of Romanian-Turkish Strategic Partnership
Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean, at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutodlu will pay an official visit to Ankara, on Thursday, when the two officials are to sign the Action Plan of Strategic Partnership.
According to Foreign Ministry (MAE), on this special occasion Turkey’s President Abdullah Gul and the President of the National Grand Assembly of Turkey Cemil Cicek are to receive Romania’s top diplomat.
‘On the special occasion of the visit, Romania and Turkey’s Foreign Ministers will sign the Action Plan of Strategic Partnership that includes several agreed sectoral projects on giving a tangible dimension to the strategic cooperation between Romania-Turkey. During the talks, the two dignitaries will exchange opinions on the development of the bilateral political, sectoral cooperation and the main topical issues on the regional and the international agenda,’ MAE informs.
During the visit, ForMin Titus Corlatean will lay a wreath at the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The visit is part in the dynamics of the periodical bilateral political dialogue and the Strategic Partnership Turkey and Romania agreed upon in Dec. 2011.
