Mark Gitenstein, former U.S. Ambassador to Bucharest, is running for a seat in the Board of Nominees of „Fondul Proprietatea” (Property Fund) /FP/, according to the information published on the FP website.
Gitenstein was proposed for this function by the investment fund Emerging Markets Country Fund, a shareholder of FP.
FP shareholders meeting is convened on April 25 to 26, when two new members to the Board of Nominees will be elected, set to replace Sorin-Mihai Mindrutescu (president of the Board) and Cristian Busu, whose terms expire at the end of September.
The Board of Nominees of FP comprises five members. Currently, the other three members of the Board are Steven van Groningen, Piotr Rymaszewski and Julian Healy.
Mark Gitenstein is the first person named on the list of candidates for elections to be held on April 25.
