Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Wednesday, April 24, will participate in the works of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), in Strasbourg, France, on which occasion he will deliver a speech in the plenary session of PACE and he will also have a series of meetings, according to the government’s press office.
The head of the government will meet the PACE President, Jean-Claude Mignon, as well as the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjorn Jagland.
Also, Victor Ponta will meet with his Georgian counterpart, Bidzina Ivanishvili.
Another item on the Prime Minister’s agenda there is also a meeting with the President of the Venice Commission, Gianni Buquicchio, with whom he will most probably discuss issues related to the revision of the Romanian Constitution.
Victor Ponta will attend the inauguration of a philatelic exhibition in the context of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Romania’s accession to the Council of Europe.
He will have a meeting with the representatives of Romania to PACE.
