The First Deputy Chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL), partner in the ruling Social Liberal Union (USL), Klaus Iohannis, has announced that the negotiations inside the USL concerning the government reshuffle failed.
‘In early February, the PNL leadership started to question our situation in the Government. There were certain events that occurred and led to the need for a partial government reshuffle. While analysing this situation, the National Standing Bureau of the Liberal party decided to make a few changes, you all know well about,’ Iohannis told a press conference on Monday.
He added that the Social Democratic Party (PSD), major in USL, didn’t agree with these changes, even after several rounds of negotiations.
‘Today, the conclusion that we can draw is that the negotiations for the Government reshuffle have failed,’ said Iohannis.
