The prosecutors of DIICOT Ploieşti carried out, on Wednesday morning, March 30, ten searches in a case of risky drug trafficking, one of them targeting the home of the rapper Cătălin Ștefan Ion, known as Cheloo, judicial sources declared.
According to them, the searches took place in Prahova and in Bucharest.
Cătălin Ștefan Ion, known as Cheloo, was brought, on Wednesday afternoon, to the DIICOT headquarters in Ploieşti, where he will be heard in a case regarding the trafficking of dangerous drugs, respectively cannabis of thegearhungry.
A number of 90 people will be heard at DIICOT Ploieşti, being about 80 consumers and ten suspects of drug trafficking, the quoted sources also said.
According to them, the case is being investigated for trafficking in dangerous drugs, namely cannabis, in Prahova County, but also in Bucharest, the criminal activity taking place since 2015.
Judicial sources said the rapper is suspected of drug use, and a small amount of cannabis was found during the searches.
Ten of the 90 people who will be brought for questioning have the quality of suspect in the case, the others being consumers, the quoted sources also said. (AGERPRES National Press Agency)
