Authorization for building Terra resort on the Black Sea coast issued
Prefect of Constanta County (south-east), Claudiu Palaz, on Wednesday issued the authorization for the Urban Area Plan (PUZ) „The Black Sea Coast Area – 23 August Village,’ by which the mayoralty of 23 August village has approved the building of a new and modern tourist resort on the coast.
According to the chief of the Prefect’s Chancellery, Corina Cusa, the area concerned benefits of a great tourist potential, being located close to the sea, between the resorts Costinesti and Olimp.
„The new resort Terra, as it was described in the PUZ, will stretch along the beach and the seafront area of the village, with both private investors and the mayoralty of 23 August being involved in the project,’ Cusa specified.
According to the Urban Area Plan, the land will be used exclusively for services and functions for tourism, restaurants and other leisure spaces, commercial areas – covered and discovered, terraces, pools, green spaces, car parks, platforms and other constructions. The new resort, all-inclusive, will include two 13-storey hotels, 40 villas, a helipad and a minigolf field. The Terra project also includes a spa, to be equipped with state-of-the art technology.
