The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened high its transactions on Wednesday, with the BET-C composite index having appreciated by 2.12 percent in the opening of the session.
The BET-FI index of the financial investment companies (SIFs) saw a slight surge by 0.93 percent, with the main BET index, reflecting the evolution of the 10 most liquid listed stocks climbing by 1.06 percent.

Trade in shares issued by 57 companies was conducted on the BVB main regular market; 40 of those companies recorded surges in the quotations, seven stood unchanged and 10 fell. The ROTX index went up by 1.36 percent in the first 20 minutes since the opening of the session, with the expanded blue-chip index BET-XT relating to the 25 most liquid stocks climbing by 1.09 percent. The BET-NG index of the energy and utility companies went up 0.92 percent.
The BVB liquidity stood at 303,512 euros, with shares having been transferred on the BVB's RASDAQ market worth 4,260 euro, in the first 20 minutes since the opening of the session. The most liquid shares were BRD's, Alro's, SIF 2 Moldova's, SIF 3 Transylvania's and Dafora's.
