Cycling: Zoltan Papp wants to enter Guinness World Records

Zoltan Papp, aged 40, an amateur cyclist from Targu Secuiesc, Covasna county (north-west of Bucharest), wants to enter the Guinness World Records by cycling 1,020 kilometres in 48 hours.

Zoltan Papp, a member of the KSE sports club in Targu Secuiesc, will leave on August 27 at 6 p.m. from Brasov and intends to arrive in the same city on August 29, after travelling a route which includes Sibiu, Deva, Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Craiova and Rasnov. According to a release the KSE sports club, the record attempt was authorised by the World Records Academy which would ensure the performance was verified and recognized.
