PM Boc: Gov’t, banks to discuss flexible lending for European projects

The government will discuss with banks the possibility of setting more flexible lending criteria in place for private entrepreneurs in need of money for the co-financing of EU-funded projects, Prime Minister Emil Boc announced on Wednesday.
„We will attempt whatever discussion with banks to render lending criteria more flexible, so that the projects of those working with EU funds, but who come from the private sector, be bankable as well, and that they should qualify for co-financing bank loans,” Boc told public radio station Romania Actualitati.
