Premier asks prefects to present media Government’s economic measures
PM Emil Boc asked the prefects to present the media the Government’s measures aimed at the economy’s recovery. ‘You may discus with the local print, audio and video media, and explain them which are the Government’s measures, economically speaking, because we have been able to hear, too often, sentences like ‘the Government has done nothing to support the economic activity.’
I’m not saying, we should either praise ourselves, or go to the opposite extreme, but we should speak what can be done and what not, and what we plan to,’ PM Boc told the prefects during the videoconference, on Sunday. He also mentioned as a measure aimed at the economy’s recovery, that the State is to pay the social contributions to the companies that employ over 2,000 jobless people, and that round 1,250 companies were benefiting from these incentives, till June 30.
He also mentioned the layoff as a measure, whereby the state takes over the social costs of both the employers and of the employees, for 3 months, while the jobs and the companies’ governmental guarantees are preserved.
