Romania’s men’s chess team wins silver in U-18 European team championship

Romania’s men’s chess team has won the silver medal in the U-18 European team chess championship at Pardubice, the Czech Republic, having won 11 points. The team was made up of Robin Alexandru Dragomirescu, Adrian Marian Petrisor, Alexandru Ovidiu Stanciu, Radu Marian Doros, coached by George Catalin Ardelean. The gold medal went to Poland, 13 points. The women’s chess team – Mihaela Veronica Foisor and Maria Madalina Anusca – came in 8th, with 6 points.
