Ponta: In MAI, Romatsa, STS, things went unacceptably slow

Premier Victor Ponta says that in three institutions – the Ministry of the Interior (MAI), Romatsa and the Special Telecommunications Service (STS) – things went ‘unacceptably show, when it came to the operations that were carried out following the air crash of Monday, January 20, in the Apuseni Mountains (western Romania).

‘I have found, as a first conclusion, on the basis of the report drawn up by Vice-Premier Gabriel Oprea, that there were unacceptable deficiencies in the operations meant to search and rescue the victims. … In three important institutions, MAI, Romatsa and STS, things went unacceptably slow,’ said Ponta at the Victoria Palace on Wednesday.
