British Airways cancels four flights into and out of Romania

British Airways on Monday canceled four flights into and out of Romania because of its flight attendants’ work strike, spokesman with the Henri Coanda Airport in Bucharest, Valentin Iordache, told on Monday.

„British Airways has canceled two round-trip flights on Monday, that will be four flights in total, with the first having been scheduled to arrive at midday, 12:35 pm in Bucharest from London and to leave at around 1:20 pm, and another flight at midnight,” said the representative of the Henri Coanda Airport. Other two flights of the British company on the Bucharest-London route flew according to the schedule.

According to representatives of British Airways, the company will still carry at least one daily flight from Bucharest to London, during the work strike of its flight attendants. „For the last flight of the day, both on Monday and on Tuesday, we will use the largest aircraft available for short flights, the Airbus A321, which will allow boarding of all passengers who weren’t already transferred to other airlines.
In conclusion, all British Airways passengers will arrive at their destination,” Emil Delibashev, Commercial Director of British Airways for the Balkans said.
