Liberals say they have immediate social and economic projects
Dan Mihalache, adviser to Chairman of the opposition National Liberal Party (PNL) Crin Antonescu, told a news conference on Monday that in a future political configuration the PNL could be an alternative to the current situation.
‘PNL could be a positive alternative to the current, quite confusing, political situation. PNL only has to really want it. The party has enough internal forces to propose viable solutions to the voters. We already have some applicable options that could change the life of the business milieu and the citizens and bring some social changes that could apply under normal conditions.
PNL can be a viable solution that proposes a solid political construction with immediate social and economic projects,’ said Mihalache. He also levelled harsh criticism against the Government for its public wage cuts, increase in the Value-Added Tax (VAT) and massive lay-offs in the public sector as well as against what he said is perceived as a weak state governed from outside the country.
